The Trumbull County MetroParks system consists of five parks open to the public and nine properties in various stages of development. The total area is more than 1,140 acres, located in 11 of Trumbull County's 35 political subdivisions. The parks are maintained through volunteer efforts, with funding from the Trumbull County Commissioners and the State of Ohio. Trumbull County Planning Commission staff assist with planning and implementation support. Park hours are sunrise to sunset.

Mission Statement: The mission of the Trumbull County MetroParks is to conserve, manage, protect and promote Trumbull County's natural resources for the benefit of the public's recreational needs, environmental education, awareness, health and enjoyment. Adopted April 16, 2009
